A rubbish meal

French TV chefs recently cooked up a feast for 5000 people using food that would otherwise have been thrown in the dustbin, to raise awareness and change perceptions of food waste:


I’m not sure about ‘tandoori vegetable stew’ myself, but who am I to argue with a bunch of French chefs with Michelin stars?!

  1. We’re having our Feeding the 5000 in Northern California next weekend. It’s a tasty way to raise awareness about food waste. I’m no Michelin chef, but I will be giving a demonstration on fermentation 🙂
